| | September 18, 2008British International Invention Show -- Far East University from Taiwan obtained 8 Gold Awards and 1 Silver Award 2007 British International Invention Show and the annual invention exhibition held at the Alexander Palace in London which was ended on the 20th, the Taiwan Delegation organized by Far East University, Teka Optoelectronic, and Wang Tai companies, has amazingly won eight gold medals, one Silver and five special awards.
The total attendees with nearly 300 pieces of works of the invention exhibition are from Malaysia, Iran, Croatia and other more than 10 countries. The "water purification Processor" designed by Wang Tai Wang Co. obtained 2 of the annual Invention Award and a gold medal, "non-pin Camouflage-camera " designed by Teka Photoelectric obtained the year Invention Award and a Gold Medal.
In addition, the "Improvement of bark sculpture" designed by Yong-Mo of LEE Merry Co, was winning 1 Inventor Prize and 1 Silver award, “Multi-Purpose Lamp†designed by Chung-Rong WANG of Ri Rong Electronics Co. won a Gold Medal, and “Multi-Functional Magnetic Tape†designed by Kai Rong Company.
The Chairman of Taiwan Delegation, Ming-Chung CHEN said that the total attended 4 pieces of works from Far Eastern University have won 4 Gold Medals, including “Flexural Strength Analyzer of Golf Clubs†designed by Associate Professor Cheng-Chi WANG, “ Flame Retardant Halogen Free Plasti-Wood†designed by Jen-Feng GUAN, “Badminton Training Rachet“ designed by Ming-Chieh WANG, and “Mosquito Proof Earring Jewelry†designed by Tian-Yin ZHAN. In order to recognition of the contribution of Far East University, the General Assembly Sponsorship has awarded a special prize of Gold Medal to encourage.
